En 1987, la Maison de la Mer de Lorient confie un reportage à Michel Thersiquel sur les femmes travaillant à la criée de Keroman. Il s’agit de lever le voile sur des métiers peu connus du monde de la pêche, et de mettre en valeur spécifiquement le travail des femmes dans l’enceinte du port de pêche de Lorient. In 1987, the Maison de la Mer in Lorient commissioned Michel Thersiquel to produce a report on women working at the Keroman fish auction. The aim was to shed light on little-known occupations in the fishing industry, and specifically to highlight the work of women in the fishing port of Lorient. Michel Thersiquel approaches this report with the humanity that characterises his work as a photographer.
